My 3 brothers & with family arrived at Pune for Diwali 2022. We had a fun filled celebration here.
We started to Jejuri, kandoba temple. Its, of course crowded due to Deepavali day. These days a sumo runs up hill, 5 persons at a time, to the top. Few of us travelled in that while others climbed the hill. A good darshan of khandoba, our kula devta and back to Pune in 5 hours.
We travelled to Bhimashankar, one of the jyothirling of Lord Shiva. Its almost 4 hours drive from Pune. Here too, local cab takes you downhill, no need to claim down steps. The temple too is crowded as that was the last day of 5 days holiday during Deepavali. As a matter of fact, though all shrines /temples are crowded these days but divine bhakti is not there in any one's heart.
Back to Pune by 9.30pm on the same day (26-Oct-2022).
